At a Marriage Encounter experience, your parish’s married couples will learn new tools to improve their communication and will be taught how to use these tools to deepen their relationship and nurture their love for the rest of their lives. The Worldwide Marriage Encounter experience – traditionally offered at a hotel over a weekend – is now available in non-residential, weekly sessions or virtual formats.
In addition, we offer shorter marriage enrichment programs requiring a smaller commitment from couples who can attend only one session.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter builds communities.
An additional benefit for your parish is that, even though a Worldwide Marriage Encounter experience is not a prayer retreat, it has been a conversion experience for many. Once a couple discovers the value to the church of their sacramental marriage, they become more involved in their parish and in nurturing their children’s faith.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a catholic movement present in nearly 100 countries. In North America, more than 1,600 couples and priests lead Marriage Encounter experiences in English, Spanish, French, and Korean. After the experience, these same dedicated people organize “dialogue” support groups in almost every diocese to help couples thrive and strengthen their families and the church.
